About this blog
  • AGI fears are premature and often overblown, as current AI is far from superintelligent and is better understood as a tool that boosts productivity by automating specific tasks.
  • Generative AI will transform jobs, not eliminate them, displacing some roles while creating new ones, particularly in support, creative, and analytical work—much like past tech revolutions.
  • In government, AI will mostly assist with routine tasks, raising valid concerns about transparency, bias, and public interest—not robot overlords, but human misuse.
  • This week, I'm over at Law & Liberty taking a deep dive into how AI will make many aspects of life—including governance—much easier.

The article is in Law & Liberty, an online magazine published by Liberty Fund, which is committed to a society of free and responsible persons living under the rule of law. You can read it at: https://lawliberty.org/forum/from-ballots-to-bots/
